About Emerson Sterling Legal Search

Located in Nashville, Tennessee, Emerson Sterling Legal Search is the newest member of the legal search firm market in Nashville and Tennessee.  However, its founder, Steven Schryver, has been involved in the legal search field since June, 2003.  Steve has placed attorneys with a number of the state’s and country’s best law firms and corporations.  These placements range from associate-level attorneys and corporate counsels to much more experienced partner-level attorneys and general counsels.

Prior to founding Emerson Sterling Legal Search, LLC, Steve served as Assistant Director of Alumni Relations at Northwestern University, his alma mater, and as Director of Alumni Programs at the Vanderbilt University Law School (VULS).  Steve has been fortunate enough to work with and place a number of VULS graduates who were students when he was an administrator at Vanderbilt Law.
